Walmart has the Sony Component Home Theater System HT-CT100 for $198 with free shipping. This system brings simplicity and performance together by pairing a center speaker and subwoofer to create a surround sound experience in a compact package.
This is a perfect sound solution for bedrooms and small living rooms or any area where running wires for a surround sound system is difficult. The best thing about this system compared to other soundbars is the amazing connectivity options. The subwoofer has 3 hdmi connections, as well as optical and other connections. The subwoofer basically is the hub of this system, but the remote sensor is in the soundbar, most people will place the soundbar below their TV, so you don't have to point the remote at the subwoofer, just point at TV (soundbar). I have a 32" LCD TV in my bedroom, picture was great but sound out of TV left much to be desired. I looked at a lot of options before stumbling across this at a Walmart store, that is where I discovered that the subwoofer had so many great connection options. Sound is very good, it won't equal a real surround system with 5 or more speakers, but you will be very happy! Cnet gave this an excellent review, check it out here-
This is a pretty good price, I paid $220 at Amazon for an open box special, lowest price I have seen so far is $150 for a refurbished model directly from Sony, it quickly sold out.
