If you are in the market for DSLR's i'd check out Canon's loyalty program. I just got a sweet discount on the Canon Rebel T2i, it sells for $900 on Amazon, but I was able to get it for $511. I wrote a blog post here:

You basically trade in an old camera and buy one of their refurbished cameras for a really really discounted price. The refurbs are practically new.
