The price went up since Nov ? It was $30-$34? I guess it is higher due to PS3 console sale promotion.
Cheap price in november was likely non dual shock? Just six axxis
Not sure what newegg charges normally, but most every store charges $50 - $55. Maybe you're thinking of the original PS3 controllers without dual shock.

I didn't miss the vibration, thought it was rather annoying after awhile.

Freaking stupid engineers at Sony said this couldn't be done. What they meant was they were too lazy (as are most engineers) to do it. Then Nintendo showed it could be done with the Wii and Sony had to stop making an ass out of themselfs. Some of the dumbest people in the world work for Sony.
my apologies... i got mine a couple weeks back and they were sitting at that price for at least a month... Just figured it was their normal price...
