Very much need to replace my trusty, but aging original iPhone. I've hacked/jailbroke it and am happily running on T-Mobile, but the touch screen is balky after years of abuse and it's just time.
I need a smart phone that is compatible with T-Mobile, has EDGE compatibility, as I just use the $9/month web2go instead of the $25/month smart phone fee. I don't need to do full internet browsing from my phone, just the occasional google search or the like. But want a web browser, and wifi when my wife is hogging the PC and I want to do something and don't want to break out the laptop.
This looks like it could fit the bill... but I don't like my Sony/Ericsson 405 phone, and this seems to be in the same product line.
Suggestions?
