I wouldn't get any Sony products that require the proprietary Memory Stick. You'd think they would have got a hint about proprietary formats back when Betemax and mini disc died.
Would you really need removable media for this with the 120gb drive? It doesn't make any sense to me unless you're trying to give someone a copy of what you have... otherwise just plug it into the computer to keep from needing MS media at all.
#1 - Sony has heard your cries. One of their newest point and shoot cameras the TX7 actually accepts both their memory stick and SD cards.
So #1 you can buy it now...
How is image quality compared to Canon 10/100 series HD units ??

I used to like Sony. Just bought Canon HF200. It is great. Video & Sounds are awesome. Photo is as good as using Canon Camera.
