If the end of civilization comes there will be plenty of people transmitting because it's the RF range practically everyone has a receiver for. The nice thing about this unit is it takes AA cells so you can power it with Eneloops.

Actually this looks like the pocket radios we had in the '60s. I wonder how many transistors it has.
Considering it's Sony, it's probably a '60s model updated with DRM.
It does not accept PSVITA card made by SONY.
Want one that uses those new rectangle shaped batteries; think they are 9 volts.
