I can see it now. My friend will buy this. Then I'll go over his house and have to point out the fact that even though he can natively receive and display 24p signals, he's probably:

a. got it hooked up to a device that only outputs a 30p signal.
b. is showing some kind of content that is 30p native anyway.
- or -
c. is using a source that is already doing some kind of 24p downpull from a 30p source (like I found out my Canon HF-100 that supposed shoots 24p native, but really does a pulldown of 30p internally) and would look better just doing 30p.

It never ceases to amaze me how people will catch on to a buzz word and then find out that despite all the money they spent to get the feature, they have nothing that can properly utilize it.
