I thought all you iHaters would like to know that Safari mobile is now the #1 mobile web browser in the Universe, beating out Nokia and Blackberry's substandard pap. *smirk*

I bought one on Mon. Funny how Sony only has free shipping Tues-Thurs. So I had to pay $5 shipping. Oh and they also charge tax if they have a Sony store in your state, so I had to pay another $11 for Tax. I also had a problem with the Sony web site. It took the code fine, but right when I was going to hit the final order button, I got a pop up from Versign telling me that the Sony site was unsafe because their certificate had expired in '05! So I didn't continue my order. I then called Sony and told them about what happened and ordered it over the phone. No problem with the code. But when I checked my e-mail I found that the first order had gone through even though I hadn't finished the order! So then I had to spend the next 2 hours trying to get the first order canceled. Just to let you guys know. The Sony sales reps are clueless.

#3, You deserve to undergo that ordeal for buying sony and that too from sony's website. I hope all your personal information will be stolen by sony through their rootkits and leaked to all it's employees including janitors.

This is the best sounding mp3 player currently on the market. Don't buy directly from Sony. Look around or wait for a better price.

      #6,

How did you come to this conclusion (sony is the best)?

Dude, where have you been? There are numerous reviews on this player. Get off the "I hate Sony" bandwagon and go listen to it yourself.

#9, I'm not going to spend all day submitting links to the 100's of reviews available. It was an example, geez...

Easy Scott1000, you seem a little tense. I saw this at BB, and it looks nice, though it lacks some features that Creative, Cowon, and even Insignia are throwing in. Don't know if Sony is still doing that proprietary compression format (and "memory sticks", geez, this is why Sony is slipping), but best sounding is sorta subjective. Especially considering that most folks downgrade their audio quality when they compress their music.

Go to Amazon.com and read what owners of this player say about it.The one thing that stands out is the sound quality, and the design. It doesn't run on memory sticks, and it will play just about anything you throw at it. Plus it's seen as an external drive when you plug it in, so no need for any special program to use it. You can just drag & drop your movies and pictures right into it.
