Every single Sony drive I have ever bought has been a total POS. Their media is terrible too. Go with another brand if you want reliability and ease of use.
The 7240S does not have Lightscribe support.

BTW, I own a few of these drives and they are much better than any of those LG, Samsung, and Lite-On DVD drives over the past few times Ive used it.
