Sony Style has the refurbished Sony Portable Navigation System NVU73T for $100 (when added to cart) + $0 shipping = $100 shipped. The NVU73T has goodies such as a 4.3" Wide & Slim Display, 3D Junction Guide, Pre-Loaded Maps & Content, Text To Speech, and optional Traffic Messaging Channel.

I have had one for about 2 weeks.

    - 5 million POI
    - Sirf III
    - 4.3" screen
    - GUI is a little different than Garmins, but OK
    - Has built in traffic
    - New (not refurbished Magellan)
-Has a funky stick anywhere suction mount that does stick almost anywhere. It is even hard to peel off of glass.
    - no Bluetooth (no biggie for me)
    - No SD card - Sony's asinine memory stick slot instead

For the price it is great. Paid $120 clearance at Sam's.

This is a good GPS because the Sony satellites are not overloaded like the Garmin and TomTom satellites.Since these GPS units have come down in price there are millions of them. People using them at the same time cause the TomTom and Garmin satellites to overload and possibly crash falling out of orbit. Much like a server for a website if too many people access it at once. Sony has enough satellites in orbit to prevent this because they are a know huge company with many of their own satellites.
Also this unit will not interfere with E-Z pass. It also works on bridges as many GPS units do not because of antennae irradium density harmonic distortion.

The Sony satellite beams are more powerful so this one works really well.
I have had mine for a week.

    #5 STFU

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite-based navigation system made up of a network of 24 satellites placed into orbit by the United States Department of Defense. GPS was originally intended for military applications, but in the 1980s, the government made the system available for civilian use. GPS works in any weather conditions, anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day. There are no subscription fees or setup charges to use GPS.

Where do you get your crap that you spew? Much like a server, huh?

    Details, I want details.

I am so glad Sony sent some satellites up into orbit, cause they are the baconnaise when it comes to space exploration.

I can always find a road to my house because Garmin satellite orbits my backyard and sends very strong return signal to my Nuvi 760.

#6 is playing pocket billiards as usual.
I know what I am talking about and am MS Certified and almost an engineer. Antennae irradium density harmonic distortion and satellite GPS beam overload are the two(2) main causes of GPS failure.

While I am not "almost an engineer" as but if I had to guess #8 is an MS Certified BS'r. Antennae irradium density harmonic distortion?

I laid off a bunch of 'almost engineers' last week, so the roads will be even less full around here.
