I bought one at BJs a while back. It worked but was hard to read. About this price too but also came with a nice cover. Returned it.
I really enjoy mine, I've been using it for a couple of years. Battery lasts forever. Text is crystal clear. It has three zoom settings, but defaults to small which is a little hard to read. Medium zoom is perfect for me. Full zoom I could read across the room. It's also metal and built like a tank. The only real complaint I have is that the page turn button (right arrow pad) forces you to either hold it in your right hand so you can reach with your thumb, or use two hands.
Love mine. It fits easily in cargo pockets to take with you. Only wished it played mp3's.
