eBay with All4Cellular has the Sony SGPT211US/S Tablet P 4GB 5.5" Tablet (AT&T) for $250 with free shipping. Features dual 5.5" 1024 x 480 screens and a slim folding design.
Meaning, fire sale pricing when compared to the usually ridiculous Sony price. Read the reviews for this then ask yourself if a Google Nexus tablet might bring way more joy + a $50 bonus.
Yeah #1, I read the same things, that most apps are not written for a 2-screen design. That means they work on one screen only I believe. That defeats the utility of the device significantly I believe, and it is unclear whether the manufacturer or others will continue writing apps for this hardware design. As interesting and tempting as it seems, I would imagine this would turn into a paperweight rather soon. I have my eyes on the Kindle Fire 2, but may change my mind upon its release. I simply do not do the fruited brand whatsoever, no offense to those that do. Also, microshaft's surface looks quite intriguing to me, but everyone is down-thumbing win 8. We shall see I suppose.
One cool feature about this is you might fit it in a jacket/blazer pocket. The other thing that might work well is that lower screen can be for keyboard a lot more and not hide anything on an app on the upper screen. However, I am not sure if that really works as well since I do not have a lot of hands on here.
I played with this thing a while ago. Seems interesting but I believe a lot of apps won't work right with it. Hence, the fire sale prices.
