Requirements: Windows® 98, 98SE, NT 4.0, 2000, or Me (when available, Windows XP and other future driver releases will be available in the support area.)

Isn't Creative the company that shut down the guy developing drivers for WinXP?

I got this card and Vista drivers were available on the creative support website. I didn't get the front panel though.

#7 they did. I think the guy was making Vista 64bit drivers. I have a SB Audigy 2 and it won't work with Vista and I doubt this Audigy Plat will either in case that is important to anyone.

#8 the website says they have drivers but they don't work. You might want to google it. My Audigy 2 will "install" but then sound like garbage with Vista.

I had this card w/the front panel back in the Win98 days. I tried moving to baconut the drivers, as noted above, were a major issue. Too bad, as it was a nice card and this price is sweet.

Thanks for the reminder, #3. I need to check on my SB sound card - it might be running low on sound!

#8 - do the vista drivers work?

oh, and I'm looking at 32 bit vista, not 64bit...

    Thanks

Ugh. Is this Audigy 1? Beware if so, it has some weird timings on the PCI bus that leads to all sorts of hardware problems (which cannot be fixed by any drivers, because the hardware is poorly designed). In my case, it would cause random reboots of the computer - that were completely resolved when I removed the card. This was corrected in the Audigy 2 line.
