There is a $50 rebate on this until 9/29. It is on the hd radio web site
Mediocre reviews right on Cambridge site. NICE!
i bought this last year, it had major issues and would basically crash and the alarm would go off, couldn't turn it off unless i ripped the plug out. I returned it and it took so long to get a refund, but for $50 dollars after rebate, it may be worth it.
Do you need an HD radio subscription, or is this something like tv signals (both analog and digital signals)?
My first one had a DOA display. Second one has been pretty good. Cheaper than a Bose wave radio. Sounds very good.
HD Radio is just digitally broadcast radio. On the FM band it works pretty easily. On the AM band, you'll need a good antenna or the HD channels will never kick in. The Terk Advantage AM antenna fits the bill here.
Good price.
Reviews indicate this is not suitable as a clock radio. The clock is too bright and cannot be dimmed enough. The alarm cannot be set without turning the radio on.
what a complete burp piece of baconnaise garbage

HD radio ain't HD, and is barely digital even. Hit up Wikipedia for all the low-down on it. Pretty much a complete and utter scam.
Where's the $50 rebate?
