I saw this gadget in use one day on an airplane -- just ordered two of them.
^ but you can't even view the site/product without registering. To me it doesn't matter if I could give a throwaway email account, I just don't like jumping through a hoop before I even know if I want a product.
You can close the email request popup on the home page ("x" in the top right corner of the popup) and view individual products without having to enter an email address.
