Not sure if my salt needs ground but it should also work for coriander (seeds) et al.
I have two for salt (sea salt crystals) and pepper and they are great.
davc That is just what I use mine for.
As for "freshly ground salt", as Alton Brown says, "Its a ROCK".
But if it had adjustable grind you could eliminate having to buy various salts.
