How easily can I sneak these into the pokey?
Teabagger all you would need is one large bin of vasoline...
so,,, $7 off a $94 item. That's not even 10%. What kind of bargain is that?
Seems a lot for wood chisels. Maybe they are pro grade and if you made your living with them could justify the price! I use and abuse mine rarely so not for me..
A fool is born every minute.
I think a nylon/plastic is better for woodworking, they are more durable to impact from a hammer. Seems pretty steep for just 4....
It would appear from woodcraft, they are 129 for the set.

Here is a Woodriver set with bubinga handles for about 55.

My chisels all end up being used for demo purposes.
These aren't "chisels"... Well not for hitting with a metal faced hammer.
These would used be a work worker that is fitting hand-crafted carpentry joints; like the final fitting of dovetail joint, mortise and tendons etc. The high-carbon steel can take a razor sharp edge, and with the right wood and grains can literally shave paper thin chips. Achieving super tight fit that need nothing than a little wood to keep then together for life.
