No, this was a godawful braindead movie that completely destroyed the franchise for the small percent of us with minds.
Wow. Such hate.
The movie was different. Different != bad in this case.
It restored interest in a franchise that was on the brink of death after Enterprise and Nemesis.

this movie is better than i expected
The overuse of lens flare utterly ruined the movie. I was hoping that there would be a version without it, but apparently the rodeo cowboy director put the flare in with mirrors and lights, not post-processing. Thanks bundles, jerkoff.
And the stalking continues.
Hopefully the producers listen to the fans on the re-reboot.
