    1. They had better be the original, untouched versions.
    2. Drop the crappy prequels.

I don't want to see the stupid prequels, can I buy the original trilogy only?

    3. #2, 1 will never happen. Embrace Jar-Jar. Feel the hatred grow within you. Every release, you come closer to Lucas's side.

#4, agreed. If we're lucky, they'll have the unretouched versions as a menu option, but I doubt it.

Then again, it's about time we all just let it go. Either buy the version they put out or don't, stop bringing it up, and gently croon over whatever unretouched copy you own. We all sound like whining fanboys whenever the subject comes up.

Buy a Bluray burner and make your own "original" out of the set.

In fact, that's not a bad idea ...

I hear the 2012 version release will be even better. But...the 2013 release seems promising as well.

Can I have a floating face of my choosing that covers any scene with Hayden Christensen in it?

When does Star Wars 7: The Elder Adventures start?

Pay now, delivery of product in 9 months is a pretty good cash flow model. I'm going to see how that works at my company.

Han never shot first, that's crazy, he's a good guy. Rewriting history? I'm sure I don't have any idea what you're talking about.

Nerds. All of the movies sucked. It doesn't mean I don't like them and that they don't have a special place in my heart but they still sucked. The acting was horrible from start to finish in all of them. The special effects were ground breaking for their time but it's old hat now. The fact that the entire concept of time is completely skewed and Luke became a Jedi in just a few days essentially when all other Jedi spent their entire lives to become Jedi is just one big point. There are so many holes in the story of the first three movies that it didn't really matter what they did in the prequels.

Honestly, the best part about the whole series is that Family Guy was able to make fun of them and it's flat out hilarious.

Is this the version where Han Solo doesn't fire first? What an absolute travesty when they screwed that up.

Plinkett reviews the Star Wars prequels at redlettermedia.com. If you can put up with raunchy humor and off-color jokes, Plinkett's reviews are better than the prequels.
