That comes to $11.50 a season. Not bad for a pretty good Sci-Fi series.
Overall, returns with Deep Discount DVD are less than stellar -- which is very important with this series release. The cheap cardboard sleeves this thing ships in tend to ensure that at least one or two of the DVDs will be scratched and/or unplayable and you'll want to return it.
This is a great show. I highly recommend it. Season 9 and 10 and not as good as the rest but still worth watching. Then you can move onto atlantis.

At 51 discs or so, just get a $5-10 case for them.

Now thats disappointing. I was hoping to throw away all the copied, reduced DVD5s I have now...
Dammit! This was like half the cost of what it was running late last year.
As #2 points out, there has been a very high return rate on this set. Packaging is horrendous, resulting in lots of scratched or damaged discs. There are also reports on Amazon about the screening being screwed up, and pressings coming out poorly.
And as far as I can tell, there is nothing new on this set that you couldn't get from buying the individual seasons. The boxes have been as low as $10 each, and come with slimline cases instead of these pasteboard sleeves. IMHO, it would be worth buying the individual seasons at a slightly higher price so you can spread out the purchases and get better quality.
oop - amend that... the bonus material was broadcast on SciFi or is otherwise available. Most of it isn't worth watching more than once, anyway, so I guess that's the decision point.
...if it weren't sold out...
DeepDiscountDVD does sell DVDs at a bargain price in exchange for slower service though. Buyers beware
