$79 seems very expensive when you consider that this show stinks worse than a steaming pile of cow excretion.

I would avoid this set. I bought this from Amazon and 30% of the discs were damaged. 10% were not able to play at all.

The packaging is garbage. It's good to know when you travel to other worlds English is the language of the Universe.

It's hit or miss with this. The disks get jostled around before you get it. Mine had a couple of disks with minor scuffs but it didn't effect how they played. I took all the disk out of the box and put them in more DVD friendly cases. The box is just decoration now.

The only thing I didn't like was the poor PQ of the first season(s). They look progressively better after that. They cropped all the episodes that originally aired in 4:3 to 16:9.

Your problem, #1, is that you're operating under the delusion there were more then 7 seasons of SG1. Holding such a preposterous belief is enough to have one committed in several states.
