I bought a pair of these for my hard of hearing mother, so she could watch TV without turning it up loud enough so the neighbors could hear.

She loves them. They have decent sound, as well. Not bad for the money.

Only thing I could ask for is an AC adapter option for the transmitter base, and an auto-off feature for the headphones. Otherwise, a great buy.
