Plastic gears, lead based paint, failed UL labs... you roll the dice if you get one of these.
I do not understand the "burst" mode. You can always switch to the higher setting if you want more power and at the highest setting, the difference is unnoticeable. Well, another gimmick that they had to add so the 2010 models are different than 2008.
Why would you paint a plastic mixxer #1? Looks like it has nice reviews but I'm looking for a stand mixer...how about it Ben?
#3, #1 is just trolling. Obviously the typical $28 mixer doesn't compare well with the typical $50 mixer but those shopping for a $28 mixer may find it competitively priced at $18. Best deal on an stand mixer is probably a used one at a yard sale... old ladies don't use craigslist much.
