nice size and speed. But the fit is still very tight on most USB Ports. Infact, if you didn't have the included keychain attached, it is almost impossible to pull the drive back out of the tight USB port as the body of this drive is very slippery.

its not tight on any devices I have used, I dunno why people keep saying that.
Anyhow, this is not a deal at all.
Ive seen these go for $30 and the 8GB ones go for $10

    I'm torn on suggestive replies:

"I can't seem to pull my unit out of this tight port."

    or

"Body's too slippery - combined with the tightness of the port, it's just not possible to pull out."

It's tight in any standard USB port, because it is wider than the port. On mine, the included chain broke from the stress of pulling it out about a dozen times. A metal lanyard clip works better than the balled chain, or if you put skateboard grip tape on the top and bottom that might help too.

Read speed is pretty good, exceeding 30MB/s peak, but write speed is about 30% slower than the quickest cheap flash drives, closer to 10MB/s depending on file size.

$40 seems a bit much for this capacity, $25 would be a fairer price for 16GB version today.

For anyone who has not seen one in person, it's pretty nice. Very small and thin and feels pretty rigid. Yes, the included chain is a bit cheap though. One downside might be that it is TOO small and can be easily lost.

I bought two 8GB last month, like most people said, it is a little too tight in any USB port, I uses it with MacBook and Vaio notebook, and even desktop, it's hard to pull out without chain.
