As far as the specs are concerned, the dvr looks quite good.
The cameras on the other hand has a 1/4 inch ccd sensor with 6mm lens. Let me explain what that means.
Usually a camera with a sensor of 1/3 inch and 3.6mm lens has a fov of approx 90 degrees.
A camera with a 1/4 inch sensor and 3.6mm lens has a fov of approx 80 degrees.
So basically if it is 1/4 inch and 6mm, it is going to have a quite narrow fov, like 45-50 degrees. Kinda like a 1/3 inch 8mm camera.
If you are ok with that go for it. but if you need wide angle view, this camera is not going to work out for you.
That's good to know. I think I will research into getting seperate DVR & cameras(with better fov). Thanks for the info.
