The difference between the two is that the automatic chronograph depends solely on kinetic energy as its power source, while the digital chronograph is much like the common stopwatch and uses a battery to gain power. The downside to these digital chronographs is that they malfunction far more often than automatic chronographs, and also their batteries run out and need to be replaced.
Don't waste your money on this. When the quartz movement and circuits fail, it can't be fixed and your left with a bracelet.
