This looks like a great Xmas gift for my nephew. The price is right and it looks pretty cool.
Too bad you can only get 5 minutes of air time out of it. The quick 10 minutes of charging does redeem it somewhat.
5 mins flight time is actually good for people with ocd.. like me.
3 channel with a tail rotor pointed up.. this should be pretty stable in flight... from the reviews on overstock it seems like a decent heli, pretty durable and easy to fly..
May want to order more than one, as these things crash and get damaged easily.
Decide how many times you want to crash. Then buy one for each crash because they all suffer the same "dual-propeller connected by two dental floss thin pieces of plastic" design.
these light helis are pretty durable.. I had one of the thinkgeek stealth helis and that thing was a champ.. survived many a crash.. until the battery died on me. but at 30some odd bones buying two one for parts might be a good idea.. or just find a used Blade MCX which has lots of parts available for it on fleabay..
