Does anyone know if this would work with a x64 system?

Don't know about 64-bit systems, but...

Once the software is loaded and the unit is connected, everything (EVERYTHING) goes through a single USB connector: audio, video (to a 15-pin VGA connector, not digital), USB, etc. We've found that for some computers it's very convenient, but for others it just doesn't work. There's a limited choice of video resolution available, for example, so driving an external display might not be optimum.

When something doesn't "work", you just revert to the previous connection directly to the laptop. Since the whole idea is to reduces plugging and unplugging, that's less than optimum.

If your setup happens to be compatible, it's a 10. Otherwise, half that at best.

#1, it doesn't list x64 as supported and there's only one driver package to download.

USB docks generally sucks. Well worth it to buy a laptop that can work with a real docking station.
