This should be better than my Kensington($25 AR) which started tearing after 2 months of light use. Even though the Kensington was nicer looking, I wouldn't buy from them ever again.

I never had quality issues with Targus Products.

Agree - the one's for 17" are few and of those most are are oversized and ugly. IMO.

Bought this thing today. Seems sturdy and the material is said to be water resistant. The padding that separates the laptop and heavy items inside is questionable... But for 10 dollars it's a hell of a deal. Most laptop sleeves cost even more than 10 bucks.

I thought this thing would be bulky and uncomfortable, but it's actually pretty compact and easy on the shoulders. Lots of pockets on the inside too. I guess I gotta ditch my old Jansport I've had from middle school up until now.

My 14.1" Lenovo R61 is snug in the laptop pouch... So I'm guessing a 15 incher would be a REALLY tight fit. The padding that separates it is less than half an inch. That's not much insurance to convince me. But, of course, that's easily adjustable.

So cram in some more padding and hit the road!
