I just received my order today delivered by FedEx. The backpack appears darker and shiny, smaller but more heavy duty than shown in the pictures. Quality material but the construction is so-so.
I have had this bag for over 1 year, had it stolen and bought it again. That should say something. It's not going to get you hot girls but it will serve you well. Very durable, great pocket size and orientation, nice sleeve for your laptop. I was able to fit my 14.1 widescreen in it so it is tall as well.
Is there any reason this couldn't double as a regular backpack? I mean, I'm sure it's great for laptops, but I'd like to use it for light day trips to say, SeaWorld.
#3, the only thing I can think of that distinguishes a laptop backpack from a medium-weight general purpose backpack is the padding designed for the computer, and that there's likely to be more of a 'slot' or two in the center than a larger single compartment. But I bet it would work for you. The price is sure right.
Hmmm $8 is a great price, but I'm waiting for something smaller.
And to think they say that size doesn't matter, #5.

to make it sweeter other then taxes you even make money the rebates are rounded to the higher Dollar amount so you make .08 in rebate Profit but to really clean up
i used GCO for $10 on the order so after Tax (high in CA) total of $9 for all that stuff
