I don't know if it's bad luck or what but I got one of these last time it was on sale and my unit stopped dispensing water after just one week of use (though it still heats water), just not as practical when the dispenser doesn't work. YMMV.
own this before, despite all the previous customers comment about not getting the rebates back and how the unit will despense itself and ran out of hot water and burn the unit, I bought it with respect to the "T****G" brand. I was wrong almost burn down my house.
Tatung used to be great at making rice cookers... my neighbor's tatung brand cooker has been in use over 30 years. The only brand I trust for water dispensers is Zojirushi.
#3 Speaks the truth. There's a reason why people pay a premium for the Zojirushi brand.

Just make sure the Zojirushi one you buy is made in Japan, because some of them are made in China. I bought one, said made in China, sent it right back. I used to dispense it right over Lacey's open eyes and burn em up nicely.
