If you only need to heat up a cup or so at a time consider a Sunbeam Hot Shot 6131 for about $18 on Amazon. I have one at home and one at work. They are great for tea, instant coffee and soup.

i have one of these at home. I can see it starting to rush from the inside. Its alright for the price. I think I paid less with a rebate before.

most folks have a microwave....seems gimmicky at best
