Don't buy TCL brand tv. It is MADE IN CHINA. I have bought one TCL 55 inch LED backlit LCD, 240 hz tv from Fry's Electronic. It is not even 240 hz! I was not happy with their version of 240hz. Read the review on amazon.com. I have returned my TCL tv for a Panasonic LED tv. Stick to the brand name tv. Spend a little bit more so that you do not have to ship it back for return. I hope this helps.

Let me guess -- you thought that "240 Hz" meant that it should somehow accept 240 frames/sec. through the HDMI input?
Most monitors and TVs are now made in china. It was inevitable, there is not enough room on the island of japan for them to make everything...
