This is worth repeating. It costs 105 dollars and uses 12, as in 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12, 12 D batteries. Do you know how this will affect a person who only uses rechargeable batteries? Well I'll tell you, it's pretty bad...
On second thought, never mind. It comes with a plug in AC/DC adapter...

You can get some 2 x AA to 1 x D cell adapters off eBay for a buck a piece then power it from Eneloops... tho', 24 Eneloops will run you close to $60. On the bright side you can use them for other things too, personally I like to have emergency power outage gadgets that run off AA so I don't have to stock several battery types.
