      TI-89 is the way to go if you are going to do calculus. That or matlab/maple on a laptop Smile

      Zephyr314, have to disagree. I prefer a HP 48-50 over any TI when it comes to calculus (let alone any engineering analysis).

      #5, I found the TI-89 really intuitive and never lacking in any function that I needed it to do through high school calculus and then a math/physics degree. Anything complicated you can program in as well, which can come in quite handy. I still use it to this day.
