Borders has The Lord of the Rings: The Motion Picture Trilogy Extended Editions (Blu-ray + Digital Copy boxset) on pre-order for $125 - 50% off with coupon code BRR5721N [Exp 5/25] = $63 with free shipping. Includes 15 discs total with special features on DVDs. Release date is June 28th.
A good price considering the next cheapest price is Amazon at $84. That is if you really want all the extra junk it comes with. Personally I'd like a set of the extended movies on BD without all the "extras" down around the $30 mark but I doubt something like that will ever be released.
Oh, and if you want to save a little more on this go over to plasticjungle.com and buy a Borders gift card at 15% off. You can get a $50 card for $42.50, essentially getting another $7.50 off of the $63.
got the LOTR with the prev 50% coupon and decided to cancel the order cuz I decided it was too much to spend on three movies (i know there are many other discs included) but I was surprised that they O U T SOURCE their customer service. Borders doesnt let you manage orders online so they ask that you call to cancel (was able to cancel since this is still pre-order). The rep took a full minute to just pull up my order even after I gave her my order#. And asked me to repeat my full name 3 times and confused my email with my shipping address... sigh...a bit of a hassle. But still got to love that they are willing to give 50% coupons on pre-order items.
