Eastern Mountain Sports has The North Face Denali Jacket in select colors (Sienna Orange, or Cardinal Red) for $80 + $8 shipping = $88 shipped. "If you own just one, the Denali should be it." [BizRate]
I really like them, but the one I have was made by EMS, a little cheaper in price but similar quality. The Great thing about most fleece jackets made by North Face, EMS and Columbia is that they can zip into a shell for extreme conditions(ie skiing). Plus the shell alone functions as a great rain jacket. When you purchase a fleece and shell it is really like having three completely different jackets for different weather conditions. Just my two cents...
I don't think this one is the shell/fleece liner. It's just a fleece jacket. No waterproof outer shell. Not a bad price for a North Face fleece, but just understand what you're getting.
I usually find Columbia ones on clearance that were originally $200 for $40-$50 at the end of the season. North Face jackets seem a little nicer, but I can't usually find the Ski Jackets (shell plus liner) for nearly as cheap as Columbia. The Columbias are good enough for me.
Tempted to disagree with you #4, unless there is something I missed. I have a columbia fleece/liner and an ems fleece and a north face fleece vest and all zip into columbia/north face and EMS liners. As long as the zipper is the same size and it has that loop on the zipper tab so it can be flipped to the inside, it should zip in(Even if the jacket has a standard zipper tab, you can usually get the liner to zip in, just not as easily). In the picture it appears that the zipper tab is the zip-in type. The nice thing for the consumer is that columbia/north face/EMS all seem to have settled on a universal zipper size.
BTW, I never said this came with a shell, I merely said it would be great when combined with a shell.
Those goddam Italians make some good jackets.
are these really that amazing or are you just brainwashed by advertising?

Is the price correct? I went to checkout and the price is $99.97 + 7.99 shipping = $107.97.

is the price correct? I went to checkout but can only type the same thing over and over
The smallest jacket they make is medium, which fits my torso fine, but the arms are extra long for some reason. I'm done with these fools.
#3, ha, skiing....extreme conditions...go get a hot chocolate and nachos while you're at it.
NorthFace has sold out they don't really provide a good out door garmet they offer fashionable crap. go with Arcteryx or Mountain hardware.
And to think I used to like you lawyer...
