REI has the North Face Horizon Hat (green) for $12 with free in-store pickup or $7 shipping. Features an adjustable headband, UPF 50 rating and an inner moisture-wicking sweatband. Normally $20+.
So, really, what features does this have that you can't find on something from the dollar store? Adjustable headband - Never seen one of these without that. SPF50 - Any tightly woven material will give you at least this much protection. Moisture-wicking sweatband - Unless a hat's lined with plastic, you're going to get wicking. The North Face name - Ah, I guess that's what you're paying for: the opportunity to provide free advertising for a big corporation.
This is actually a higher than average quality hat, but it comes down to what design or brand if any you want in a hat. For one thing since I have a large, but not XL head, the average cheap one size fits all hat fits me at the end of its adjustment range if at all.
Worth $20? No, and you have other choices at $12, but I've gone through far too many $2 junk hats, they're a false economy.
Don't be a poser... The crowd you will be identifying are ghyeters...
Any way to mount a prop on this thing?

You must be hard on hats.
If I lived in New York City, I'd buy TNF merchandise.
