If you don't mind the color, botachtactical.com has the new balance 990's in olive drab on clearance for $39.99 right now. I have 4 pair of these and they're great running shoes.
I just got Asics GT-2130's for $60 (normally $100) at Eastbay. You may have missed the clearance stock, but I recommend going there to find better shoes than this for the same price.
'The North Face' would be a cool name for an outerwear company...
I was in Nordstrom's Rack last week and saw some awesome deals on real brand name shoes like this. Worth a try if you're close. I'm less than ten minutes from mine.
Agreed, #7. Nordstrom Rack has some pretty high end running shoes for a lot cheaper. They tend to be last year's models or older, but my feet don't know the difference.
interesting alternative #4, for 990's under 40 bucks is an absolute steal(i've paid easily 100 bucks for them) but i don't think i can get past the color..
know any decent running shoes with good arch support?
