First off - if you think spilling coffee in your keyboard is bad, just wait until you do it to this puppy!
2ndly - #1, do you mean burp'in as in "burp kill you", or do you mean more like 'burp'n' as in "burp and kill you". Assuming the 2nd, is that the proper order, first burp, then kill? Or does it not matter? Inquiring minds want to know.
Make sure to use the eSATA, not USB 2.0 if you want best speed.
Mine has worked fine. Very nice not having to open the case or even attached a regular external adapter. I've seen the price lower however.
