NewEgg.com has the Thermaltake BlacX ST0005U USB & eSATA Docking Station for $40 with free shipping. Slam your hard drive into it to make it into a USB external hard drive. Check out this quick look at how it functions.

Slammin' may be good on the dance floor, but it's no good for hard drives.

Mine has worked very well. The last rebate on this model that I recall was several months ago.

I have this. Paid about $30 with rebate from Circuit City. Works fine as far as I know. I back up my iMac once a month with a 1TB drive in it. Don't run it for more than a 1/2 hour each month though. That's all I use it for.

Just got the Azio SATA HDD Docking for $23. Haven't tried it yet. Hope it's good.

Recently, I bought the "Azio SATA HDD Docking Station $23 at Shop4Tech.com".

    http://bensbargains.net/deal/84444/

I did not slam by HDD into it, but gently docked into it after connecting the SATA wire to my eSATA port @ the back panel of my computer. Lo! Behold Vista Ultimate recognized my new connection and the HDD was ready for use. One can use USB port as well to access the HDD.

The first thing I did was clone my C drive into the new HD using Acronis 11.

    Very satisfied with the performance.

Thermaltake is a better known brand so is Newegg.com. But it is still $17 more.

#16 is right - this isn't a deal at all. Or, for in the <$10 range you can get the dongle versions. They all work equally well.

This could only be good for someone that does a lot of this kind of drive swapping around.

These are awesome. Never buy another external drive case.
