No doubt. Freezers are just highly-organized refrigerators.

I see. So theoretically then if we, as a nation, were to arranged the country in an orderly fashion we could solve the energy crisis...

What energy crisis, it's all just a trick to get away with funneling money to friends 'n family of certain elected officials.

If you want your fridge or freezer to run more efficiently, fill up all the empty spaces with blocks of ice in the freezer and beer in the fridge. If it's a deep freeze, even better is blocks of frozen salt water - if the power fails it will start to melt below the freezing point of water, keeping the food frozen longer.

Is this PSU worth $28, maybe, though it's only 72%+ efficient so those needing a PSU over 450W will have more power wasted, while those who don't need over 450W can find an APFC PSU deal on Ben's for a little lower after rebate cost that is higher in efficiency.

Well, when a good quality and efficient PSU shows up here for a bargain price, will you please point it out?

The key would have to lie in being organized in summer and disorganized in winter with appropriate transitions between. This could explain a lot because from my pov at least, summers seem less organized than winters. No wonder it gets so damn hot.

No if everyone organized their refrigerators & freezers this would not only stop Global Warming but also Global Cooling.

A few days ago, and probably again in the future 'egg had the Corsair Builder 430W for under $20 after rebate. Presently they have the 500W version for $30 after rebate and a $10 off promo code (exp 12/5).

A certain forum member often claims they make a whining noise but mine don't, and it does have 4/5 rating over hundreds of 'egg customer reviews. Generally speaking if you want an efficient PSU, look for one with APFC and the [precious metal] certified efficiency rating. While a lot of generic or off-brand PSU manufacturers lie about the wattage capability, few if any lie about the efficiency.

10-4, I keep that in mind. I did order one of Corsair 430W PS and the same model running in another computer I haven't notice a whine while it was running. Must be a hit or miss type thing...

OK #9, I'll have my one of my girlfriends come over to organize my refrigerator. She has to line up all the bottles of beer for easy access... I want to do my part to help save the world. After all, Mother Nature loves us... I think...
