This thing runs great with a compact entertainment center build. All the voltages are pretty stable within the report of my mobo and it does have a second fan on the back. Price is $5 less than a year ago.

Pretty nice for a regular PSU. Too bad I missed the 650W for $25AR deal 3 days ago. This is decent for a nongamer computer.

These days 430W PS is the bare minimum. But the quality of the PS matters not the rated wattage. Thermaltake is know to make decent PS, so this is a good deal.

Get over yourself. This works just fine for a "gamer" computer too.

#4, that's not true at all. 430W is more than most people ever need - people FAR over-spec their powersupplies. Unless you're running monster video cards or SLI, 430W is a ton of juice.

I have had two of these, they're excellent for the price.

This is an excellent price for such a good PSU. I have the same exact one, which I purchased for double the price. As far as gaming goes, it will work fine unless you have dual 8800GTX cards or something. My system is an an Athlon X2 5600, 4 gigs DDR2 667, 1 HD, 1 DVD-RW Drive, and a 7900GT OC Video Card. The computer is always silent, only when I boot up I can hear the fans. If you need a good PSU and you're not one of those extreme gamers then definitely buy this, especially at this price.

One of the rebates needs to be sent by the 15'th. Better fill it out right away.

I've used this in two systems. A couple of reviews have pointed out that the 430w rating is overstating things -- in my main rig I had to replace this; it wasn't holding up. It works fine in another, simpler system, though.

This PSU *looks* good, but is basically a ~300w unit dressed up with sleeved wires, etc. Still, not bad for the price as long as you're not expecting much.

Just in time, needed a new PSU for my upgraded NAS. I have a 300W Powmax lying around that would do the trick power-wise... but I'm certainly not interested in seeing any of the other tricks that Powmax is known for.

#15: I hope you don't have to use that PowMax. It probably can only put out 100 to 150watts before exploding. Even their "high end" 580watt units can only handle around 200watts. And, when they explode, they have been known to take your other computer components with them.

#1: motherboard voltages are notoriously innacurate. Also, since you're looking at the voltages in the bios, you're only seeing the votages at idle. You really need to check the voltages at full load to see if your power supply is holding up.

How do you get the two rebates while they both ask for the original UPC? I don't get it.

This power supply will able to suppor your Duo 2 Core system if you don't max load your PC and no over clocking. For those of you who is building new computer and need a budget PS, get this I personally recommend it. It had run pretty stable on my 1.6Ghz Duo 2 Core system for past 8 months.

This powersupply should be fine even with most gamer pcs. Overclocking should be fine, but it only has one pcie 6pin (so no SLI). If you have an 8800GTX or other monster video card I believe you need two pcie plugs as well.
