Mwave.com has the Thermaltake Purepower W0100RU 500W Power Supply for $55 - $30 rebate [Exp 8/15] + $8 shipping = $33 shipped after rebate. It has great customer reviews, with a low noise 12cm fan that surely keeps the decibels down. [BizRate]

#2, depends what you are looking for. if you want more output (g you're actually going to use the 70 watt difference) then of course the thermaltake one is better.

if you don't need the power, i would go for the earthwatts 430w because it is rated 80plus (help the planet, even a teeny bit helps!)

as for power quality, i'd say the thermaltake one is a bit better (their purepower line is solid). but that doesn't mean the antec one outputs bad power, the thermaltake one is probably better.

It's not a big difference, if you want significantly better you'd have to spend more or wait around for some other deal.
