if this would have been $100 less (ie $450), then i would have preferred this over the recent similar (if not identical; same specs) fujitsu laptop deal that i purchased (for $450 after tax, shipping, & rebate).
It's a nice deal if you buy into the thinkpads being better hype. I just purchased the refurbished Asus with the same specs from Newegg for $404. For $150 less it's probably a better deal...although the touchpad on this thing sucks.
