if you hang something this heavy from the shower head it could cause the pipe from the faucet to the shower head to leak in the wall. renters should have insurance for this as this is not normal to break and will have to pay for damage.
This does not hang from the shower head. You can either screw it to the wall or you can use the included double sided tap and silicone glue. We have have the single dispenser (just taped), double dispenser (screwed), and quadruple dispenser (taped and glued). All three work great and appear to be rock solid after about a year of use. They do not dispense a lot at once, but that actually helps you get just the right amount. I recommend these for sure.
I have had a couple of these for years and are nice to clean up the shower bottle clutter. As #2 says it doesn't hang from the shower head. Thicker conditioners etc. can be hard for it to pump and can cause the pump seals to fail.
We bought a house that had these installed in it. I found them to be bacon challenged mold traps. By replacing the bottle clutter, they create an additional type of clutter.
^ Spray it with a diluted bleach solution every now and then, as well as any other shower crevices where mold (actually, mildew/fungus) may be growing because it had to spread from somewhere.
good, bad, and so-so reviews.

It'll look great with the little mold growing on it...
