    Holy crap! When did subscription fees go up? I only pay $10.95 per month, and to be honest that's about all it's worth. If they ever started charging me more, I would just go back to using a home-made PVR.

    i agree. i don't know what the big deal is with tivo other than that it's a lil better on the whole "guide" thing and it recommends shows. don't care. i get dvr from twc for $5.95/mo and if it breaks you get a new one for nothing same day in-store pick-up and no commitments. they're moving to free dvr's in 2008 you just can't FF thru ads
