Adorama has the Tokina 11mm to 16mm F/2.8 AT-X 116 Pro DX Autofocus Zoom Lens (for Nikon, Canon or Sony/Minolta) for $649 - $40 rebate = $609 with free shipping.
Best lens in its class, better than the Canon 10-22mm, although it's 1mm less wide, but the 2.8 makes up for it in low light in doors. It's still cheaper than the Canon, better construction, and sharper too I might add. My only problem with it is the 16mm, which shouldn't be a concern for a lens this purpose, but it means a lot of swapping. Couple with the Canon 17-55mm 2.8 IS, you have the best setup for any crop camera.
#4 Lens price keep going up. I am not sure if that is caused bu weak US dollar or not. For example- I got my Canon 50mm f/1.8 a while back for only like $67 but new one now cost around $100.
The big news here is not so much the price, but the fact that it's in stock!
Nice lens with solid build quality and also heavy. Good price- I might jump in 4 1 if I don't have my Tokina 12-24mm F/4

Wow, I didn't pay anywhere near this much when I bought mine. Great lens BTW.
