Just a word of caution for TomTom users. I'm one and like the XL340S that I have. When I installed the TomTom Home recommended firmware update, the unit malfunctioned. TT email CS was pretty useless despite my having described the problem in detail and sending the unit's data file. So, I just restored from a backup. When I called CS and reached a human (second try) he said the problem arose from the fact that their software was "not fully compatible with Win.7". So, I'm using XP for all updates now and kept the old firmware.
