I bought one of these recently and really like it. Works great, easy user interface. Speaker is loud enough, FM transmitter works well (as expected), bluetooth is fine although with Verizon service, there are a limited number of phones that will connect. I am very impressed with how fast it reroutes if you miss a turn. You should also get a case for it and screen protectors (the palm pilot ones come 5 to a box and are just about the right size.

I had TOMTOM Go720 before and had to return it 2 month later. For GPS itself, it is good product. But others, like FM transmitter, are very poor. When I use bluetooth and FM transmitter to connect my cell phone to my car radio, only the incoming call can connect to car radio at the beginning when I just got the product. After contacting their support and getting some instructions, the device stopped to connect my cell phone to my car radio. I contaced them again and again, even they asked me to send the device back to them, finally they told me their device doesnt support this func. FUNNY!!

If you play MP3 through FM transmiter, the signal will be very weak. You have to turn your car audio volume very loud. You may be scared when the GPS instruction voice come in because its own voice is much "bigger".

Try Garmin 660, same price but much better. I got one recently. The FM transmiter is much better. My incoming and outgoing call can all be linked to my car radio. Even GPS is more accurate than TOMTOM. The operation is simple and very practical.

#3, do you have that in a text file somewhere? That's VERBATIM to what you post in every single TomTom posting. And after reading it this many times, I STILL have no idea what the hell your first paragraph means.
